TODAY'S LESSON: PUT THE BLOG FIRST
Before career. Before paycheck. Before social life.* Before all those things, I must prioritize the blog.
The blog is good. The blog, for lack of a better word, works. Must put the blog first.
I've been scooped on too many stories this week. By the time I weigh in on the treatment of observant Judaism in literature, the State of the Union, CampusJ, a romance well-deserved...it's all over the blogosphere, and I may not have anything to add.
(Of course, I'll still do the piece about literature; it's part of my development as a creative person struggling to discover the best personal expression of my Judaism, in my life and in my work.)
*Note to my parents if they're reading this: Don't worry. The paycheck's still important. And I'm not planning on writing the singles column forever.

Do you mean JCampus, or CampusJ? Inquiring minds want to know...

Sorry. I've got a million things going on right now. It's been changed, SIW.
