DATELINE WASHINGTON, D.C.--INSOMNIA HITS BLOGGERETTE

Watching The Usual Suspects for like the jillionth time, and am awed by all the performances, even Stephen Baldwin's. Whenever I catch it on TV, I have to watch it through to the end. (There are only a few movies like that for me: The Shawshank Redemption's another...)

Is it just me, or does Benicio del Toro look like Brad Pitt? I know one's blond, one's not, but there's something about the shape of the face that's strikingly similar.

Oh, and I LOVE Gabriel Byrne. Just sharing.

I saw it only once - heavily censored on basic cable. I could tell something was off when, in the line up towards the beginning, their lips didn't quite match their words - "Gimme the keys, you fairy godmother!"

That's so weird. I've always thought that Benicio del Toro looked like Brad Pitt. It's the mouth; and the twinkle/squint of their eyes.

Kevin Spacey's gay? I thought he married Annette Benning in "American Beauty." Was that just a sham marriage for the cameras? :>)

Stephen: Sorry I missed the Blogger party! Keep me informed of future soirees.

Michael: I was in DC for my sister-in-law's 30th birthday, plus, with my budget, that counts as my summer vacation.

Ari, honey, I can't reach you via email. But tell GB to call me.

Steve and Reuven: The dubbing was annoying, fer sure. But the movie was still compelling, thanks to the excellent acting.

Sassy: We all have that dream. There's something right sexy about KS, even though he's no Adonis.

Julie, I'm glad you're with me! Makes me feel like I'm not quite insane yet. Yet.
