HALF-BIRTHDAY

I just realized, today is my half-birthday. So mark your calendars, we're only six months away from my next birthday party. I'm officially taking advice as to location for next year's event, so vote early and often.

How can you celebrate with me on this partially auspicious half-occasion? Feel free to send me half a present or half a card or some other sort of half-assed commemoration. Of course I'm kidding. You don't half to.

:)

PS: If you write "half" enough times, it starts to look like it's spelled wrong.

A friend of mine celebrated this same holiday last week. What's even worse is that I played along with it and remembered. Then again, one of her half-birthday rules is that SHE pays for the drinks (which is a good way to get me to remember certain dates).

My 1/2-bday is a joyous occasion indeed. I always take the day off, because I never get my actual birthday to myself... always innundated with the well-wishers and the celebrations! So the 1/2-bday is designated as the Yearly Shopping Day, and I limit myself to one shopping bag full of stuff that I want for me.

1/2-bdays rule!

Happy birthday you. May half be fun your birthday. Hope get of half presents.

Hmmm, better idea than execution. Half birthdays are a great idea. On your real birthday you can celebrate the one who did all the heavy work when you were born, your mom. I mean really, all any of had to do was show up. :)
